Native
to Central and South America.
Light
Red Kidney Beans have a solid texture and flavor. They
are characterized by their large, kidney-shape with a
pink color. This bean is popular in the Caribbean region
Dark
Red Kidney Beans are large and kidney-shaped with a deep
glossy red color. They have a solid flavor and texture. Like most beans, kidney beans are rich in the best sort
of fiber - soluble fiber - which helps to eliminate
cholesterol from the body. They are a good source of
folate, potassium, iron, manganese, copper and zinc. As
a high-potassium, low-sodium food they help reduce blood
pressure.
We
grow them organically in the North of Argentina.
