by the Egyptians. The western world has become familiar
with it through several popular uses, such as
bun toppings and halvah, to name a few.
Sesame
is a plant with either white or reddish flowers, shelled
fruits, and oily seeds, which are used to obtain oil, as
well as its other direct consumption forms.
Sesame
seeds have most minerals and are alkaline. They have
thiamin, folate, riboflavine, niacine, calcium -very
much-, copper, iron, magnesium, phosphorus and zink.
Sesame seeds are high in good quality proteins, about
18% and they also have very much of important amino
acid, methionine. Sesame is especially good for heart
and blood vessels. It builds strong body and improves
endurance.
